A family’s knack for innovation

A family business, born of the daring and determination of its founder Henri Giguère, Decolam first made its mark as a pioneer in the manufacture of moulded countertops before branching out into innovative products featuring laminated plastic components.

Operating first in Québec and then the rest of Canada, Decolam extended its sales to the U.S. market in the early 1990s. Customers everywhere appreciate the quality of the company’s products and its efficient, speedy response.

Heading a team comprising two dozen employees, Jean-Claude, his son Manuel Giguère and their associate Marc Morency are taking their fonder vision to yet new levels. In tandem with building contractors, architects, designers and distributors, they continue to successfully translate Decolam’s dynamism and expertise into growth and prosperity through their contribution to more than 500 projects annually.

THE ENVIRONMENT:
A COMMITMENT

In times of eco responsibility and durable green construction, Decolam is proud to help architects obtaining LEED® credits. By using local materials and resources and choosing pre/post recycled products that are GREENGUARD low emission certified, Decolan achieves this ecological goal.

At Decolam, environment is much more than an accreditation. For many years, we have been serious and commited to this resolution. There is almost no material waste, and we developed a “Natura” option for both series.
